Sep 9, 2010 - As I explained earlier, my previous readings of The Divine Comedy consisted of a college course that covered Inferno and the first ten cantos of Purgatorio. His translations of Dante -- Inferno , Paradise and Purgatory -- are among the best in a very crowded field. If we have time, maybe we could also discuss why on earth a new translation of Dante seems to come out approximately every two months.
